Approaching the stars

Rudhyar has laid down the basis of humanist astrology; wisely he discarded all direct interpretation, saying that the course of the stars is only used as a clock and helps to describe the cycles of human life. Thus the movement of the stars has merely an associative basis - an analogy- in relationship with human psychology.

This interpretation avoids the evasive and vague interpretations of a "direct influence" during the transition of such or such celestial body.

However, we are trying to lay down the basis of an energetic approach. In considering the human being as a crystal which is polarized at its first breath after birth. The more the fine - subtle- structure of forms is progressing, the more the vison of this "polarization" as a basic pattern will take meaning.

Exercise of perception

The exercise is practiced outdoors, preferably in an harmonious place, at whatever time. It will be interesting to practice at different times.

Standing up, relax the body until you feel your bones settled
Alignment to the Self
Discriminate the telluric influence of the place
Erect the vertical from the top of the head to the sky.

Turn to the East, welcome what offers the sky which is coming up
Turn to the South, feel its plenitude and quality
Turn to the West, with the Earth give to this part of the sky which is disappearing.

Turn to the Polar star, feel the inflow coming in this axis
Turn to the Great Bear, (visually or according your memories), search for its inflow.

Greet the earth under our feet,
Give back to it all we have received.

The great illusion

The stars seem to be there far away in the sky, yet their light is percevied here, informing us of their quality and glow .

At the begining of our pilgrimage, the soul, the Self seems to be there in a high place, then it is revealing within us. The Master too seemed to be high there and we are working more and more in His (Her)closeness.

The stars are a glistening focus; for they infuse space, they are focusing it; it is thanks to this receptivity and infusion that the focus is glistening and glowing. The energetic centres in our body are telling us the same fact : located there yet active in a huge zone.

The stars -and specially Sirius, the 7 focus of the Great Bear or of the Pleiades - can be found again in the energetic body and some are able to locate them within their aura.
As an hologram, the human being is like the One Self. The etymology of the french word "être" coming from es-tre is very similar to astre which has given the word star. And the the human being reflects in its structure the macrocosmic environment.

An axiom

"Tout être est la focalisation de l'espace en un point d'électricité.

Dans l'Etre-té, Racine non-manifestée, se tient le plan de l'Etre, qui est Lumière, Vie, Electricité.
Selon la loi de périodicité, ce point est en pulsation, de l'espace au point, à l'espace ...
Réciproquement, tout espace a un point focal.

Participer à cette pulsation s'appelle identification.
La moindre relation qui en émane est sensibiité consciente."

Means of approach

(Voir page 17)

His book Prelude to the new man suggest an exercise of alignment (page 125) dont voici des étapes

Celui qui s'entraîne pourra vérifier la véracité de cette correspondance des niveaux avec le ciel.
